Mark Grant Racing and The Pheasant Inn are both located in the area famed as one of the leading racehorse training centres in the Uk, Lambourn, Berkshire. Both organisations are working together on a new and exciting collaboration to further expose their brands to reach new audiences.
Mark Grant Racing, run by husband-and-wife team Mark and Eimear Grant, is a horse racing and bloodstock organisation, specialising in Breeze Up Consigning, Breaking, Pre-training and Point-to-Point training. Mark, previously a successful National Hunt jockey, started the business in the latter stages of his riding career and since 2018 the business has accelerated and grown year on year.
The Pheasant Inn, located on the outskirts of the village and a stones throw from junction 14 of the M4, boasts not only amazing views over the Valley of the Racehorse, but also a rich history as one of the country’s most famous racing pubs. The ever-popular establishment has long had a reputation for being one of the best places in the locality to dine, socialise and stay. Now, in the portfolio of Young & Co.’s Brewery and in the wonderful hands of Manager Louis Footman, The Pheasant Inn is building a fantastic community of customers, from locals to those visiting the area from further afield.
The main synergy between both organisations is their common goal to give clients and customers the best possible experience. The partnership will see lots of exciting activations, with both businesses working together through brand activations, events and marketing initiatives. It is the aim to grow and evolve the partnership over the next eighteen months, into a mutually beneficial collaboration between two ambitious organisations.
Mark Grant commented ‘We are delighted to be working Louis and his team on this exciting new partnership. We are always looking for and trying new ways to build and improve our business and we think that our partnership with The Pheasant Inn is a huge step forward for us, particularly in terms of the opportunity it provides with brand exposure, association and client experience. Of course, our main objective for our clients is to achieve optimum results by doing the best we can with their horses. However, we also strive to make sure that during the process, they have a great experience, we encourage stable visits and enjoy entertaining clients. We always feel safe in the knowledge that a warm welcome, fantastic food and great atmosphere is provided by Louis and his team at The Pheasant.’
